The 2024-25 ACT Season has started out on an…interesting note…
Last week, on Day 1 of the our first Course of the year, we found ourselves unexpectedly without a venue. Yep, it was 7:25am, we were in a parking lot on East Ave, Course participants were on their way, and we had nowhere to go…or so we thought!
On a desperate whim, I decided to walk the 1/2 block to the Strathallan on the off chance they could help us. As it happens, the stars aligned…in the person of Eric Loughlin, Event Sales Manager at the Strath.
He took our unusual request in stride and found not one, not two, but three conference rooms, plus a suite upstairs, that allowed us to run our Course, as planned, with all four small groups!
Not only that, but they caffeinated us, fed us (very well!), were unfailing kind, gracious, and all-round wonderful!
So, thank you to Eric and the entire Strathallan staff, you saved the day!
