Review ACT Skills & Share Communication Successes/Challenges
We are excited to offer R&R Rounds open to any and all who have completed the ACT Course! We will be offering these every 1-2 months and hope they will provide a forum both for brushing up on ACT Skills and sharing communication successes and challenges.
Cross-Silo Networking
We are also hoping to help break through the walls of the silos that all too often exist in the medical profession and we think that Open R&R Rounds will be a great opportunity for networking.
The ACT Program is only a year old, and already we have had physician, APP, RN, and SW colleagues take the Course from: Advanced Heart Failure, Liver Transplant, Renal Transplant, Hematology/Oncology and Palliative Care. During the remainder of this academic year we will also be welcoming our chaplain friends!
Next academic year we will be offering the ACT Course to interdisciplinary groups from Hospital Medicine and General Medicine!
